I am learning to write more than one idea about a topic.

I like story-writing.  I like to write about my weekends with my family.  Sometimes it is tricky to sound out the words - sometimes.

Swimming Term 1

This term  we are learning to be safe around the water.

I am practising getting in and out of the pool safely, float on my back,  use a noodle and a flutter-board correctly and hold my breath underwater.

Maths Term 1

I Am Learning To Add And Takeaway Numbers In My Head

I am learning to imagine the numbers in my head.

Sometimes it is tricky because I forget the numbers.

Sometimes my teacher and my friends can help me.

Soccer Skills Workshop Term 1

On Friday we went to Soccer.

We played games on the field.

I liked playing Cat and Mouse.

Welcome Post 2016

Room 7's Botanic Garden Trip

Room 7 went to the Auckland Botanic Gardens on the 17th November, 2015.

We learnt how compost is made naturally using FBI - Fungus, Bacteria and Invertebrate and how to make our own worm farm and compost bin.

We were very tired at the end but we had an amazing day!
