It was Grandparents Day at Elm Park School

and we had some special visitors in room 7.

They helped us make a Christmas lantern, looked at the fabulous

work we've been doing this term and read us a book or two.

What a great morning we had with our special visitors

Elm Park School had a Book Character Parade on Friday.

Room 7 dressed up as a character from their favourite book.

Don't we look great!

We went to Ambury Farm. We learn't about the animals that live on the farm, where milk and wool comes from and how to feed the animals.

My favourite thing was:

"I liked feeding the animals."

When I first started school.

Now I can write a sentence independently.

In Room 7 I am learning to write independently.

We have special things in our class such as our yellow cards to help us

find the letters and some words we want to write.

"I can find words on the yellow card."

I am learning to make the first sounds in new words.

"L-l-l-look."

I am learning to make a pattern.

"I made a pattern with circles and triangles."

I am learning to choose appropriate colours for my self portrait.

"I have golden hair."

I am learning to count to 10.

"I can write all of these numbers."

"I made the number 4."

I am learning to count one-to-one.

I am learning to correctly form letters.

"This is the the letter e-e e."
